Please ID this snake.
Could someone please tell me what they think this snake is?? It was sold to me as a JCP but judging by the colours I thought maybe not?? I know it s only young so colurs may change as it grows. And also can someone please estimate the age of it for me. Only roughly, just so I kinda know how old it is.
Cheers
Adam

Sorry dude but that is an IJCP(Irian Jaya Carpet Python), they are as well very nice and many perfer them to the JCP.
That is a nice one at that.
They don't always get to be as big as the JCP and seem to have a better attitiude towards being held.

Looks like an IJ. The age would be hard to say but it could be 1.5-2 years old....

I don't see anything non-Irian about it. You can never really tell with the australian carpets, but Irians haven't been crossed all that often, so I would assume it is pure IJ.

Looks pure Irian Jaya to me...there's not a single thing about it that would make me think otherwise.

Cheers for all the comments and positive ID's everyone. Im a little bit pi**ed off that I did not get the snake that was advertised as I love Jungles so bad, but I am still happy with this little un. Excellent temperamant, and seems to like being held so I should not complain. Just means i'm gonna have to build another viv now so I can get a jungle too!!!
Cheers all
