Ah~~Choo~~~

Sigh...well I have done it...
I have over worked myself and now I am sick......
for the past 2 months I have been sleeping an average of 3-4 hours a night. Then on Friday I slept for 2 hours and went on without sleep for 38 horus and had only 4 hours of sleep and woke up again...so yeah...right now I am sick...I think that I have a flu....

So today I didn't do much...so took some pics of the little ones that just hatced yesterday..

so here they are....
Sunglow het Motley x Butter het Motley clutch.

Look at that huge egg on the top right. Man that thing is huge...its like triple the size of a regular corn egg. I wonder what is inside....twins? LOL

My keeper, Amel Motley het butter

This is from another batch. Its from my Banded x Banded pair.
This is the only one that I kept back...
I wonder why? Can you see why I kept this little one back?

Well I better get to sleep....I think that I am having a little fever too....

Anyway enjoy the pics~

Hey Derrick, my guess as to the brown on the eggs would be from using sphagnum moss to add some moisture at one point or another during the incubation. Just a guess? Oh yeah sphagnum stains from tanins in it or something, totally harmless though.

Thanks all~!!

Derrick,

Dave is right. I use sphagnum moss and it does stain the eggs a bit....and I do agree...its not the best looking eggs out there....lol...but since I get so many eggs a season I would rather keep it a bit more moist and make the eggs look bad (not that it would affect the hatchlings anyways...lol) than to have them dry up and die because of that.....

Mary,

LOL....yeah my own high white from a banded clutch...LOL...
hey if you are interested in getting an amel het butter poss het motely or even an amel motley het butter...let me know~ cause I have a couple of them right now....

Oh thanks all for the remarks. I am feeling all well now. So I guess all I needed was 8 hours of sleep and that was good enough for me to fully recover....LOL....~~

Isn't it nice when you're feeling sick and you go to bed early only to wake up feeling 100x better? Glad to hear you're back on your feet.
