Hmmm... yeah, that does look odd. I've seen our boas yawn before, and it looks quite a bit different than that.

i'd say its in mid strike, the mouth and the teeth and every thing looks normal, like what a red tail boa should have in there. the gums are very exposed which yawns are not. i would definetly go with a lucky shot of a hungry strike
