New Hog!!!!!
This is my new female Hog Island Boa! She is originally from Big Dan of Canadian Captive Bred, but I purchased her from Henry Piorun. She is very light grey with LOTS of pink. Hmmmm.... maybe that's why her name is Miss. Pinkie! Enjoy her pics!
Pinkie checkin out her enclosure! She is SO outgoing! Super friendly too
Isn't she the cutest?!?!
Alecia

Nice HOG there. The constrictors that people own on this site are absolutely amazing and yours is no exception. Congrats.

Although I've never bought from him personally I would certainly be willing to give him a try. He has some great animals and was always fast at replying to any emails I sent him about his Hogs. Who know's I might get some Hogs from him someday. I've got 2.2 but you can never have too many Hogs.
Cheers,
Trevor

When I'm in Calgary he invited me to go look at his girls. He said the one I have is on the lower end for him. So I'm pretty excited to see the mom and get more babies from him! If you didn't know his are also called the 'Sears' line and they stay under 5 feet, even the females! This will be my first Boa project, so I'm pretty stoked!

Oh yeah I knew. He was the first to have them that I know off in Canada. The name is nice and all but all you have to do if you want small hogs is ask to see the breeders adults. Don't get me wrong though if I was buying from him I would ask for Sears line blood for sure.
Cheers,
Trevor

Who else has nice, small Hog's? I would like to get seperate bloodlines if I knew of someone else who has some good pure blood hogs.

Uh, let's see who....? Oh yeah me! I got two of mine from Mike Vince and the other two are WC.
A few years ago Boamania bought 10 of 33 snakes that were imported into the US. The 33 imports were being called San Andreas Boas and were supposed to be the only 33 in captivity.
San Andreas Post by Boamania
This pic was in the original post showing a Hog and a San Andrea. I now own the "San Andrea" in that pic.
Well long story short Boamania went belly up and sold his stuff to Reptile Headquarters in TO. I got two of these imported San Andreas boas and did some checking with people on both sides of the boarder and they are in fact imported Hog Island Boas. Vin Ruso is one of the people I've consulted about them. He was aware of them when they came into the US and was offered them for sale but passed on them because they looked too much like hogs to be anything else. He belives that they may be from one of the smaller suronding islands near Hog Island.
So when it comes to pure blood hogs I don't think you can get any more pure then WC.
Cheers,
Trevor

Well when you have babies let me know. The plan right now is for 2.2 and you know I already have 0.1 but I might have pastel ball babies this year. (fingers crossed) So extra cash means more snakes!

I hear ya that's the plan! Next year should be the first year for my Vince pair, the year after for the other pair.
Cheers,
Trevor
