Misc Colubrid pics large and many!
Just thought I'd post a few pics of various colubrids I own, and a bit about them.
This is Andy Warhol. An albino bull. Got him from Vanan who got him from SCALES. He has become easily one of my favourite snakes with his calm manner and excellent feeding response. He's a devil in his tupperware, but a puppy in the hand. In person, he's unreal.
<img src=http://img48.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Kattia/albbullbod.jpg>
Another shot of my male black pine, Gabriel. Again typical pit attitude. He's got the best hiss on him. Not as black as other black pines, but I won't hold it against him. Got him from a friend in BC. No, he doesn't have cataracts.
<img src=http://img48.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Kattia/gavebod.jpg>
A beauty shot of Estrella. The meanest snake I own. Speckled kingsnake. Got her from Vanan, who imported her from the States. A stunning example of a speckled king. Absolutely adore this snake.
<img src=http://img48.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Kattia/estrellasun.jpg>
Here's something for colour. Male Everglades ratsnake. Produced by Mark Kenderdine (Crimsonking). Sometimes he's trouble, sometimes he's not. Always has a deer caught in the headlights look to him (lights are on, but nobody's home). Beauty, no brawn. Love him just the same.
<img src=http://img48.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Kattia/glades3.jpg>
I have two very special girls in my life. Fitting they are black and white. First is Silica. A blizzard corn. Horrible pic, beautiful snake. Love her soft eyes.
<img src=http://img48.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Kattia/silica4804b.jpg>
And second. Purity. Mexican blk kingsnake. Produced by Ken Taylor (thank you my friend, rest in peace). Given to me by Vanan as a Christmas present. She is easily the most docile snake I own. As a baby she was used in educational shows and has been handled by hundreds. So tame, you could poke her in eye. (Not that I do!) Jet jet black. I can't get enough of mex blks, I have three, with more on the way.
<img src=http://img48.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Kattia/purity4804.jpg>
And here's a head shot of a male mex blk I bought from Christian Bilou (Tortis). Sold to me as a bit fiesty. Actually he's calm as heck! Thanks a ton Christian. He's a bit browny as far as mex blks go, but he's got great length to him. Check out the irridescence.
<img src=http://img48.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Kattia/mmexblk.jpg>
Anyways. Thanks for looking. Hope you enjoyed my lousy pics. I get so much pleasure out of visiting my snakes, I can't imagine life without them.

I'd been harassing Christian about the mex blk for a few months! Luckily Lori was going up, so she brought him down.
Thanks for the compliments guys.
As for an eastern indigo? Those are for people who think they're too good for mex blks and can't get their hands on black milks.
I'd really like to find a fem bullsnake (albino), oh and a male speckled king!

Mark, I think you'll also recongnize that albino bullsnake.
Remember that weird looking albino gophersnake ssp that you traded us for really calm and nice pinesnake? A buddy was here visiting and did a scale count - it wasn't a gophersnake after all.

Hmmmm I thought I traded a Childrens Python, but I may be wrong? It was a reptile show weekend afterall. Things get kinda hazy with all the buying, selling, trading & etc. sometimes Heh Heh. I think that it used to be Kyle's probably cause he had one quite similar to that so I'm guessing that it was his, but it may have "went" thru me ? Mark
P.S. Nice Calm Pinesnake eh, people used to ask if I had a rattlesnake in the room & were scared to come in because of all the hissing & tail shaking. What a "showman" he was LOL

Your memory is better than mine - and you are older than me.
I think we did trade the childrens. And I was thinking it was Kyles albino, but I'm sure it was done through one of your end of show hook ups.
That Estrella looks like a diamond python in a king body.

I love the bull! I'm supposed to be getting a pair of albinos this year-hopefully they have that much red on them.

Love your black mex's, Katt. That's neat that they're both calm. The everglade is good looking too, nice and bright. Very nice! Vanan's pretty nice to you to give you those!

Good luck Yness on your eggs hatching!
My third mex blk is also very calm. I have only seen one mean mex blk and it was the meanest king ever!
Vanan is a herper girls dream. A lot of my snakes have come from him, either as holiday gifts, or here's something to cheer you up when you're down kinda thing.
Heck most of the snakes pictured I got from him, even the black pine!
Again thanks for all the compliments!
