sexing juvenile Irian's or Carpets

Do we run the same risk as in GTP's when sexing juvenile Irain's or Carpets? i.e: potential spinal damage while probing, kinked tail etc...
Looking into purchasing a young pair of these next week and would love to be able to purchase a 'pair' instead of 2 but do not want to run the risk of damaging them at all. Fully willing to wait for them to mature a bit then lift up the skirts and see what we find.

We sex all of our IJs with no issues from the moment they are hatched. They are most easily popped (manual eversion of the hemipenes) when they are very young as they haven't got the strength in the muscles in the tail that keeps their hemipenes inside the body. Once they are older, this popping techniqur can become harder and less foolproof. From there, probing is ideal.
But it is easy to sex a male....if something pops out, it is obviously a male. But if you do it wrong or too lightly for fear of hurting them and nothing pops out, one can accidentally think they have a female.
But simply put, they are just as easily and safely sexed as any other python besides GTPs.
