Building custom tank for frilly and have a few qeustions...

Hey guys ,
I'm planning on buying a frilly at the next expo after the september one( I think it's in november ). I want to build it an half wood and half glass enclousre measuring 5 feet tall by 4 feet long and 4 feet wide. This cage is ment to last it, it's whole life so I want to get it right the first time. I'm planning on making the bottem wood( i'm not sure what kind u guys use so any suggestions would be great with a sliding glass front, glass sides with mesh circles for ventilation( diameter measuring 12 inches on both sides and then a mesh top for more ventilation and for placing of bulbs. I always here u guys talking about different selaenats for glass and then different coatings for wood? can someone explain that to me. Also im just curious for people that use wood on there cages how do u clean it without the cleaner sinking in and ruining the wood? Sorry i just have no idea what i'm doing. Also anyone know how to make a sliding glass front?
Thx alot
Kayla
