I actualy just bought a digital camera today. Up until now I've been using an SLR and my girlfriend's point-and-shoot advantix. Anyhow, one of my first pics was this one:
Looks like your is equally curious about cameras. How old is he/she?
Cheers,
Dave

Yuppers Dave, my sav loves the camera.. so interested in it, and everything that i'm holding near him. had to pry a temp gun out of his mouth when i first got it)
Fluffy is about a year and a half and around 3' long.. i've had him since he was about 5 inches long.
Nice pic as well

yuppers... my sav is a little cam-*****. i've got a million pics of him with the webcam and he's always interested whats going on around him. I just have to be careful that he doesnt try to eat whatever it is that im holding in his enclosure.. I don't think my girlfriend would be too thrilled if the sav tried to eat her brand new digicam.. :P
and Scotty, yes, the camera is pretty good.. it has some issues focusing in real close thou...

Are those guys tame? I've been thinking about getting another large lizard of some kind but don't want anything that can bite my hand off. Also, what kind of enclosure do you have or need for an adult sav? What is their adult size? Sorry about all the questions.
Thanks

my sav is faily docile. he doesnt like to be held much, but other then that, he's fine with people. watch out thou, as mine has one helluva feeding response.
I keep my sav in a 7.5x3x4 wooden enclosure with about 8'' of dirt. some savs like to dig, mine doesn't dig all that often, which is why i have the shallow substrate.
from what I've seen the average size is somewhere between 3- 3.5 feet. If you are interested in getting a sav, i highly recommend Ravi's book on savs. pm him on this site (ravi).. or go to www.themonitorspot.com for more info.
