Need information about PNG hot's…

I was told theirs no cobras in PNG, I need to know if theirs any other snake species that may spit venom in PNG, aim doing a study on nictating membrane in monitors, if you have any idea pleas let me know.

No spitters in New Guinea or Australia (the animals are mostly similar species).

There are no spitting snakes further east than the Indonesian spitting cobra Naja sputatrix in the Lesser Sunda Islands ie. Komodo
