Man that sucks, I know how you feel I had had a friend move to Texas this summer and probably wont see her ever again. Why would they move to a country so currupt and dangerous?

that really sucks. But, now you have a chance to get to know a different side of him. Explore your friendship with him through letters and emails, pictures and mixed cds, and things like that. Just because he's moving away doesn't mean that your relationship has to die.

It's tough, I know - I had a friend move to the other side of the country, but there are as Kristina pointed out ways to keep in touch. Hope you and your friend stay in touch for a very long time, Adam.

I know how tough it is to have a best friend move halfway across the world. I had a friend that I had known for 9 years move to Australia but we still keep in contact through emails and such.
