Any pet store should have it...maybe even Wal-mart. Just look in the rodent section. There are usually lots of bags of wood chips and stuff like that. I buy the aspen that comes in compressed packages. It's like a square log and I just chip off what I need and crumple it up into loose aspen shavings for my snake.

You can usually get it in pet stores, but it's often hidden away under everything else, and it usually comes in pretty small bales...but a pet store by my place, in Montreal, carries it in big bales...you could always ask your local pet store if they'd order some for you...I'm not sure if feed 'n' seeds carry it, but it can't hurt to check.

I just bought a bale tonight at a local pet supply place. It was $21.99 for a 9 cubic foot bale. That's a steal even compared to Wally world!
Ask at a mom and pop kinda place, Nikki.

i know we sell our 2 ft bags at like 12 bucks or so at the store... corr's right though, mom and pop kinda places have the best prices hands down (i know i work at one!) Petsmart and Petco or whatever just make their stores look huge and like a warehouse to reflect the idea that they have the lowest prices which usually isnt the case

I looked around at the petstores here and they don't have it, I meant does anyone know where I can order it online? I need lots and I have been looking for quite some time. I don't live near any big cities so I can't just go into a petstore that would carry it. If I tried to order some they would up the price by 50 - 75 maybe even 100% guarunteed, which is why I never buy from them. They were selling pinky mice for 3 - 4$ a piece and i can get em for .25 or even free. As you can see they are major ripoffs.
"Ask at a mom and pop kinda place" what is that? LOL

"Mom and Pop" is just a term for a longtime independent business... your local store as apposed to the huge warehouse stores.
Sorry, I don't know where to buy online. Maybe you should arrange trips to the "big city" once in a while to get stuff like this. North Bay? Sudbury?
