Multiple ATBs?

What's the general rule of thumb for housing multiple subadult ATBs together (1.2)?

I have mine in a 18 x 18 x 18 tank. It's a one year old pair.

I feed them separatly out of the enclosure.

They still have plenty of room, but I'm presently building them a 2nd story with an identical tank on wich I'll take the bottom out to make an extension.

In addition to all the reasons I would not house snakes together...

I would definitely avoid housing any subadult snakes of the opposite sex together. Males will breed earlier than females are able to successfully do so. Early breeding can result in the female being injured (even potentially fatal injuries) or stunted. If you do make the decision to house males and females together other than for breeding purposes, then they must be neonates/juvies or mature, breedable adults.

At what age should neonates be seperated? When are males able to breed?
