Question screamers?

i was reading some posts a few minutes ago and the word "screamer" caught my eye...i was just wondering if someone can tell me what "screamer" means...

It's a loud, shrill exhalation of breath from a person confronted by a particularly beautiful specimen of herpishness.

Well actually, a 'screamer' is another way of saying 'most righteous animal, dude. The colours and/or pattern are indeed particularly excellent. Awesome.' A less wordy way of complimenting an attractive animal.

Yup. As Jay mentioned, the term screamer is applied to outstanding specimens. The term is used far too often however, and IMHO many of the animals labelled screamers are far from it. I just avoid the term altogether.
