My last post in here
This will be my last post in here as I am getting out of hots for health reasons.
I have cancer and to risk a tag now would be fatal(more so than normal) and the drugs are slowing me down.
This pass time was one of my joys in life but I can no longer do it so I have had to move all my hots on to good homes.
These guys were the last to go today.
Keep posting guys, It will be my lil hot fix to come and read about your beautiful snakes.
Hots are a strange thing, some people think we keep them as a macho thing but myself, like most of you could go a year or more without even showing hots to another person so how can anyone say its for ego ??
We do it because we like it, not to be tough! To own a hot, a deadly animal, and deal with it every day with care, love and respect is something that will leave a large hole in my life and I will look forward to hearing from you guys and girls to give me a FIX.
Cheers everone and keep an eye on those heads huh, and remember its the blunt end that bites.

Quite understandable though...so sorry, Rick. Good luck in your battle against cancer...I wish you the best of health.
See you around on the site.
Love, Bj

We will miss you, Rick When you are better, are you going to get more hots? Will you at least still post on the other forums? We don't want you to leave!

Take care bro. Once the venom gets in your veins, ya can't get it out and can't live without it

Well you don't have to leave the snake keeping hobby as a whole. Just part with the venomous ones and keep the nons. They should not harm you. Though a never understood what you all saw in hotts, I understand it must be awful for you to part with some of your prised possessions. I know how much it would hurt for me to part with mine. Sorry bout that cancer, are you going to be ok? It must suck right now with all that's happening, and then to have to get rid of your animals....That must be awful. Get better soon, cause the sooner you do the sooner you can get back in the game!
