Leaves for silkworms

OMG! I just got 3 silkworms (along with a ton of other feeders) and they're so cute!!! I was thinking of keeping one as a pet. Would it survive on any kind of leaves or does it have to be mulberry leaves?

Silkworms only eat mulberry laefs, and mulberry meal/chow! I have 1000's of them they are a great food source. But I am in the US and it seems they are hard to get in Canada. Your animals will love them!

Silkworms are great as feeders (if you can provide them with a steady supply of mulberry leaves or can afford to keep them on the commercial mizes sold by breeders), but they may not last you too long as pets depending on how you feed them. They turn into moths in no time...
