Water dish for hatchlings

I'm expecting my first hatchlings in a month and was wondering if those green plastic saucers that you put under pots is good for a water dish. I'm worried the edges are too sharp. I'm currently using one for my worm dish for my adults and they haven't had any problems with them. I've never had hatchlings so I don't know how fragile they are.

For my baby beadies i just use lids from old cricket dust containers, and lids like that. Sorry i dont know what kinda lid you are talking about.

I think it should be fine, Martin. Pet stores use that for their babies and some people who have posted pics of their babies on this site use it as well.

I dont use one, ive tried with my beardies but they dont seem to go in and lick it. they usually lick it off there greens before they eat them. Ive never had my leos hatch(soon to come) so i dont know about them. ive heard of alot of ppl using them.

I would assume they do, but I am fairly new to leos myself and will let someone more knowledgeable give you a more definitive answer.

I myself use those green saucers, the smallest size available. They clean very easily and I also use the same thing for my calcium dishes. I wouldn't recommend a calcium dish for newborns, but at 4-5 weeks it should be okay. The reason why is because I find that they eat far to much when they are that small. Dusting the crickets 2-3 times a week should be more than enough. Hope that helped!
