Talking Sure, why not...?

I've used tap water to no ill effect on all my animals for years with no problem. If a crust grows on the bowl from the stuff they put in the water, use vinegar to wash it off, no worries.

I agree, vinegar in the water helps control bacteria growth. We use Apple Cider Vinegar. Contains some beneficial vitamins in it too.
