male/female

Hi, just wondering if I got it right or not. For Giant Day Geckos, you tell their sex from the pattern between their legs? Male ones have circles on them and the female ones have a soft line running both ways, is that correct?

It's okay, I got the ans already:

Adult day gecko males can be distinguished from females from the presence of femoral pores. Under a day gecko, just above the vent where day geckos defecate, is a set of specialized scales. These scales that run like a "V'" line above the vent, are very distinct in males with yellow to dark brown dots inside the scale. Many adult males secret a yellowish wax from the pores. In P. madagascariensis grandis, this makes the scale area around the femoral pores yellowish. Females lack the femoral pores and often do not have the yellowish secretions around the vent area.

I just got this information from a breeder and I thought I should share it =)
