Lancaster Herp Show

Just wanted to share some pics from the show that I went to yesterday. I won't ever own a hot but I have to admit they are beautiful snakes.

That must be the most creative way of spelling "Sudo Cerastes" [sic] that I have seen to date. Although adequate spelling is not a main factor for being able to keep venomous snakes safely and responsibly, a dealer who does not even come close to spelling the taxonomic names right does not exactly make me want to purchase animals from him.

The correct species name of that beautiful animal is Pseudocerastes persicus, by the way. The common English name is false horned viper or Persian false horned viper.
