Question BP drooling?

So I was handling my ball python, and he seemed normal, was exploring, not too stressed or anything. I was doing a few things in my room while I had him in my hands when I felt something wet drip on my hand. He had his head pointed down as he was traveling, and spit was dripping from his mouth It was a good amount, but not a ton either. I've never seen him drool before, and it was definitely coming from his mouth, not his nose. I put him on the ground and I gently took his head in my hand and felt around his mouth and slightly opened his mouth. Everything looked normal, and his the outside of his mouth was dry... Does that happen sometimes?? Why did he drool? Is that some kind of infection??

Re: BP drooling?

It's likely the snake drank some water before handling and kind of spit it up. No harm done.

Just listen for any signs of RI but if there isn't than it's just water.
