Question Fed Sapphire a small hopper

So I fed Sapphire a small hopper on 12/6. She ate it right up and had a nice bump in her but it has now been 8 days and she still has a small bump in her I wanted to hold her today but decided I probably shouldn't do that. My question is should I be worried that there is still a small bump? Also for the last 24 hours she has been soaking in her water, I don't know if that is to try to help the digestion process but it's not normal for her. Any help I can get would be great.

Are you sure there is still a small bump? I highly doubt it considering the time frame, snakes will usually digest the majority of the prey item in about 2-3 days, depending on the prey item and snake. Snakes can be handled 32 hours after the initial intake of food, depending on the snake, and size of prey item. If you have proper temps, and humidity there is no need to worry about her soaking, she is probably just going into shed. Can you submit a picture of the bump please?

She is going into shed. I couldn't get a picture to post I don't know why but it never works for me and the bump is gone now. Thank you for replying DJC I really appreciate it.
