What kinds of Rosy Boa's are these?

A little info: I've had Pyro for 5 years, and the others for a year and a half. I had very little info given to me on all three of the snakes and I was just wondering what kind of Rosy's you guys think they are. From the research I've done Pyro looks like a Bay of LA Rosy, and Athena and Bob (whom where given to me together) look like Whitewater Rosy Boas, which would make sense since I live near the Whitewater National Park. Still, I am unsure and want to hear others opinions.

Without further ado... meet the snakies.

Pyro

Athena

Bob

Also, is it true that with Rosy Boas if "spurs" are visible under the tail then they are male? Pyro displays these, but Athena and Bob don't. I'm asking because I've never had them sexed before and the only thing I've had to go off of is presence/lack of spurs.

Thanks for looking!

Rosy boas are highly variable even within a given locality so it's hard to say and this is assuming your rosies are from a pure line. It's best to ask the seller and better yet to have documentation of their lineage.

Suprs: All males will have spurs. Most females will lack spurs. But some females may have small spurs. Males will also have a longer tail. So longer tail plus spurs means it's most likely a boy. Adults are pretty easy to sex this way.

Very cute boas by the way! I'm a big fan.

Thank you and thanks for the info, I'm pretty sure I know their sexes then.

I am trying to get in contact with the breeders, but can't guarantee that I'll be able to. I suppose it wouldn't be wise to breed Rosy's of which the lines/locality are unknown?

Guys! I'm so happy, I have 1 mystery solved so far. I got in contact with the old owner, she told me that Athena is a wild caught Yucca Valley Rosy Boa
