shedding

I am totally excited! i just happened to walk past Mac's tank and saw the big tree start to move back and forth. i thought"what the--?" and mac was twisting real funny, sticking his head up in the air. and then I saw the skin coming off! I never saw him shed before. I only saw a video of a snake shedding on youtube!I'm sure all you experienced snake keepers think I'm crazy-but this was a real neat thing for me! I had to share this.

Re: shedding

I've only seen a couple of my snakes shed and I totally agree with you mac that it's pretty awesome.

Re: shedding

Bowie shed about a week ago, I sat next to his tub all night watching him, really cool stuff.

Re: shedding

I'm still trying to get a glimps of my green tree shedding, only aboreal species i have (for right now) and curious to see if she comes to the ground or stays up top. It's an interesting process.

Re: shedding

I've never seen them shed either, I've seen them glossy and i've seen them when they look like their wearing a sock but never the actual skin sliding off. What a cool experience
