I woke up in the middle of the night to find my sand boa had somehow (and I have no idea how because the closet thing to the lip of the cage is the water dish witch is not very close at all) climbed to the top of her cage and was resting on the lip between the screen and edge of the tank. Anyone ever hear of a sand boa doing this? Is this normal?
Almost all snakes can climb. The snake especially if it got wet in the water bowl, is able to climb up the corner of the tank. The snakes was trying to escape the enclosure.
