Devastating death

after being called home from work because the school said my son has pink eye, a dr trip to confirm it, and coming home, I found my beautiful Spider Ball dead, she was alive this morning, she fed normally at the end of last week and today she's gone.

She had a huge bulge protruding out of her cloaca, what could have happened from this morning to now??

She has always been a healthy girl, always fed well, never had any health problems at all!! I am devastated!!

My beautiful Neytiri......gone!!

I think an autopsy would be best.

Re: Devastating death

Wow that sucks. You may never find out but if you close to a vet and spend a few bucks you can have a necropsy done.

Re: Devastating death

I didn't even think, I already buried her in the backyard. All I could think was "I can't believe it, she seemed fine this morning"

Re: Devastating death

Freeze her and send her to me. I could tan her hide.... If you don't find that offensive.

Re: Devastating death

Thank you everyone, it is hard. She was one of my favourites. it just happened so fast and was so unexpected that it caught me off guard.
