Hey guys! Have not posted on here in a very long time. I finally decided to add some more to my collection and picked up a Mojave who is a pain in the butt. I have fed her 3 times Frozen thawed but now she will refuse to eat unless its live. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to break her from eating live?
Thanks!
Have a good day.
My jungle carpet and ball python were on live before being shipped to me. Took them a whole month of not eating to finally start on F/T. Haven't missed a meal since.
No problem Lubey. Actually I made an error I was going through some of my e-mails and my JCP was actually on F/T for a while before being shipped to me. The ball python however, was on live. Nonetheless, both ate after fasting for a month. Must have been hungry.
I had a mojave girl that was a huge pain in the butt as well. All she wanted was live. I bought very undersized rat pups for her, gave her one live one, then immediately offered a f/t rat. I had to do this many times before she would accept f/t without the presentation of a live rat first.
