winter cooling

If i have no desire/plans to breed, is there any reason i need to cool down my rosys enclosure? It seems like their natural environment doesnt really get that cold during the winter months and ive read that some stay active all through the winter. Any thoughts?

Re: winter cooling

If you are not going to breed, then no you don't need to cool down in the winter. Snakes climate out of necessity to survive cooler temps. If the temps stay warm enough, they do not need to climate.
