New snake opinion.
So, I have a long range project of breeding Sharp Sunglows with the hope of having Jungle and/or Super Jungle Sharp Sunglows.
I just got a line on a male Hypo. He is a Columbia Salmon Jungle. My problem is that I'm not that good with morphs YET.
Could some of you more knowledgeable people have a look and let me know if this morph is accurate please ?
OH, he will be bred to a female Sharp Sunglow.
Thanks in advance.

Re: New snake opinion.
It's definitely a hypo. What is the age and what do you have to pair it with?

Re: New snake opinion.
That's a hypo and could very likely be a jungle, but there are abberant lines of hypos that can resemble jungles with the zig zag pattern. As for being from Rich Isles salmon line who knows. Who is the seller? Can they provide you with pictures of the parents? Personally, if your goal is sunglows or jungle sunglows I'd pass on it if its not at the very least het for albino, otherwise you won't make sunglows on your first breeding, just more hypo jungles (and supers) that are het for albino.

Re: New snake opinion.
I totally missed the salmon jungle Part. I'm not sure about the jungle part but I'm pretty sure it's not a salmon. Like ddub said salmon is a specific blood line and a lot of people claim their hypo is a salmon but they red and pink pigmentation.

Re: New snake opinion.
My advice the first time around still stands, but if you really want him then get him. If it were me I'd be gunning for a male with all three genes since your female is only a sunglow. That way you would have visual jungle sunglows in the first breeding instead of having to wait 3-4 years for hets to grow to maturity.
Btw- Salmon is hypo. It's a particular line of hypo.

Re: New snake opinion.
Think about it this way; if you got that one (and it is in fact a jungle) and bred it to your sunglow the best you could hope for with offspring is a jungle hypo (or possible super) het for albino. That's basically what this guy is minus the het albino. Wouldn't it be worth it to hold out for a similar male that's already het albino and save 3-4 years?
