Hi, what do you think?
Hello I'm a tad new here. (well very new) and I've been trying to do my due dilligence on carpet pythons since I was made aware of this local ad.
Snake w/ Enclosure
I am curious about the snake (I know that "enclosure" is mostly rubbish or will be soon)
but a few of my questions being:
1.) is that an indicator of good color for a while to come? I was wondering if carpet pythons brown out as quickly as Ball pythons
2.) The silver eyes are what interest me, I thought they only appeared on jag cps.
any thing I should be looking for when I go to look at her in person?
Thankyou for your time!

Yes, when you go see the snake in person, there's a few things you should look at and ask.
The eyes should be smooth and clear. The nose and mouth of the snake should be free of any obstructions. If you see any bubbles, puss, or abnormal coloring, the snake may be sick. The skin should feel smooth and fresh. Check the body for mites. Mites look like small little black spots on the body. Good places to check for mites are under the head and on the belly scales. The snake should be alert, and it's movements should look and feel natural. You should not be able to see any ribs. Remember to ask how/what/how often it is eating. You'll want to know when the snake last ate, and if it's been eating consistently.
Other than that, it looks like a good deal!! That carpet looks great. Let us know if you got it!!

Re: Hi, what do you think?
My regular JCP has silver eyes. Btw, that's a good deal, glad you found it and are giving her a home.
Alessia gave you some real good advice. Just remember when handling her the first few times use slow movements. I know my jungle is super flighty and strikes at anything that moves quick. Im trying real hard to curb that though

Re: Hi, what do you think?
So I picked her up today, and the original pictures did not do her justice! She's amazing, thanks for all the advice I got here! (I tried to get some pictures of her earlier but she tried to tag the camera and by proxi my face so i'm letting her be for a while : ) )
On that note, I Found out she was produced by elegant image reptiles and bought at the Tinley park show this year.
