Chondro!
AHHH im going to go insane! I found a beautiful one for sale on craigslist now only if I can get the guy to give me a decent price on it and the tank I would go get it today!!
He isn't asking much for the snake itself but I also would need the viv for now seeing as I have yet to build one for it. He is asking about $150 more for the viv than I can buy new!?!?!
I am going to have to make a 3hr drive if I decide to get it... I dont like waiting I just hope I can get this one its beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Chondro!
I actually had not thought about that.. lol The snake is only 1 1/2 yrs old, looks like maybe 2ft. A tub would work really well but still would be nice to have the whole cage if I can talk the guy down but If not a tub will do!!

Re: Chondro!
if its just 1 1/2 years old and tub will work great and that will give you time to get a cage and get everything just right for it. hope you get it. i LOVE my GTPs

Re: Chondro!
lol.. If it was my money I would but he is the money maker in the house so I have to get the money!! He is just as into the snakes as I am and normally more than willing to support the addiction. I don't see it being an issue just with the wedding right around the corner money can get tight.

Re: Chondro!
Last Halloween I dressed up as a super sexy exotic dancer and made like 80$, if I had breasts I could have easily made a few 100$
Might have something to do with the fact that I live in QC

Re: Chondro!
Is it in New York? I saw one for sale on craigslist in upstate, ny and one in mass. I think GTPs are regulated in mass so I donno what the transportation rules are. Better check.

I'm in Vermont and the snake I want is in northern Vermont. GTP are actually illegal to have in mass as far as I'm aware.
I just went and got a tub all set up for it going to add heat tonight. I am picking it up some time this weekend. My fiancee seemed really excited about it!
Oh and I'm not nor would I ever dress up and flaunt my boobs for money.( even though I would make far more than a lame $100 ) haha

Re: Chondro!
So its all set.. picking him up on sunday morning! I can't wait to see him in person. He was born red and is yellow now starting to show some signs of green. My son is going to freak out when he see's him. I'm going to have to sit down with him and go over the hands off way of life for this guy.
I guess I should learn to hook train.. ahh let the research begin for that now! I'm sure I will pick it up fast and should help make him a better pet.( well easier for me to handle when I have to)
Now one question the guy has him eating f/t mice would it be wise to switch him to rats or leave him be on mice???

Re: Chondro!
Get him onto rats ASAP - if you take a look at my GTP in Profile : Hogan the last pics i posted show the size of rat he is taking in comparison to his size.
Also be ready for the first time you see him yawn - you may think his head has split into two!!

Re: Chondro!
Ok thanks Rob! I will absolutely get some rats after a few weeks of him being used to us and eating for us. I am just happy as hell he is eating f/t already.
Just hopeful he isn't a huge one for biting... never been bit but I'm sure I will be soon

Re: Chondro!
Lol - just posted this in bite club thread but - you never have enough interaction with a GTP to get bitten.
