Different kind

I recently got a turtle for my husband, the pet store owner said it was an 'asian yellow box turtle' I found a couple pics on the wab, some say that name, others say malaysian box turtle. I am having a hard time finding much info on them, if anyone knows any, or knows any good sites, please let me know.

It is a Malayan box turtle (Cuora amboinensis)

Very nice site, thank you! All the other sites i had found were all about the chinese mistreating and eating them. Very sad. I couldnt really find a good care sheet, that will help.Thanks!

You can give her a 50/50 set up (haldf water and half land). I have cared for one before. Depending what it is used to, it may prefer more land or mroe water. Adjust accordingly.
