Live gigs
Just thought i would throw up a thread where people can tell us about the concerts they have been to or are going to.
Im going to see Despised Icon, The Red Shore and Thy Art Is Murder tonight, i cant wait to hear sme good pig squeals. I have been to heaps of concert but will list a few BMTH, BFMV, JFAC, Behemoth, Metallica, AILD, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Dying Fetus, Napalm Death, Rob Zombie, Soulfly and TOOL to name a few. I have also gone to many raves and seen many world renowned DJ's aswell. Some i have seen are Showtek, Donkey rollers, Luna, Tuneboy, Technoboy, Lady Dana, Tatanka, A-lusion, Pila, Isaac, Zany, Pavo and some earlier guy's from different genre's Aphex Twin, Daft punk, Beastie Boys. I think that will do for now, but there are many more i could list.

Re: Live gigs
Pink floyd would of been a sweet concert. You have a pretty good taste in music ch^4. I have also seen devil driver, in flames and static x all these guys put on a good show.
I have also seen Emmure, Machine Head, Fear Factory, Lamb of God, Shadows Fall, Unearth, Opeth, Megadeath, Stone Sour, A Perfect Circle, Cancer Bats, Testament, Gwar, Arch Enemy, Decapitated. These are ones that i can still remember off the top of my head. I will have to go through all my old tickets to find out who else i have seen lol. Also alot of these guy were at the same concerts. All in all i have proberly been to 50 or more raves and hmm maybe 60-70 concerts.

Feeling glad that this forum is more international and some might actually know some of the European ones I enjoy!
Still tons more on my list!

Re: Live gigs
Thanks percey, as do you! I was supposed to see Slipknot about 6 years ago, but they cancelled and I was nearly heartbroken! Apparently, my small town didn't sell enough tickets (jerks) and so everyone suffered. That was the last year they performed live (in my neck of the woods) before resurfacing x amount of years later. Still haven't seen them (They rival Dimmu for #1 on my list to see live...solely based on sentimentalism).
Insurrection, I'm very jealous of you seeing Dimmu Borgir in concert! They are #1 on my list to see! I'd love to see Kataklysm and Unearth, and I missed Gwar.
infernalis, you were lucky to see Floyd!
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only metal-head herp lover! \m/ ^_^ \m/

I hope the time will come and you get your chance
Definitely reccommend them all! I was fortunate enough to meet kataklysm's vocalist when I saw them it was really awesome. I would love to go to another one of there shows.
My dream is to go to Wacken open air in Germany, I wish I was closer

Re: Live gigs
The wacken would be sweet! Im hopefull of going to defqon 1 and then cruisin over to the wacken on my european holiday next year.
Last night was sweet. Despised Icon are one of my favourite bands and they were insane live as was The Red Shore ( good aussie death core check them out )
Im going to a big festival early next year and cant wait as i scored back stage pass and passes to the after party. Dimmu is playing there as is Slayer, Maiden, Ill Nino, Devil Driver, BMTH, Megadeath and many more. I CANT WAIT

Re: Live gigs
Count me in!
just curious... have you ever heard of a little band called dungeon? one of my favourites as well!
I love my heavy stuff, but I'm a sucker for the stuff that's a little more melodic, yet still heavy!

You did say "passes" didn't you?! You know, there's this one guy back in the states who'd love to go! lol
Fast, hard, heavy, dark, epic, techno, melodic, or any combination!
Of course, the faster, harder, heavier, darker, the more epic, technical, and melodic, the better!

Re: Live gigs
Haha deal was i get to go as well my mate who's uncle got us the tickets and 3 other mates lol. We met BFMV which was not a big deal for me as im not a fan but was hoping to meet BMTH but they already left damn it.
Im a huge fan of death core, black metal, hardcore, heavy metal and many sub genre's of these. I cant wait the one im dying to meet is Kerry King as his snake collection is sick. Also Rob Zombie will be good to meet as well as he is at the same festival.
I have heard dungeons name mentioned by friends but have never listened to them, i will look into them now.
