Any other female and I would have just ripped the cage open, move the hide box, lifted the male's tail, etc etc LOL! I've been trying to get this female knocked up for 3 years. This male (100% Het orange Ghost) was all over her right away, so I hope its a good sign. Maybe I'll actually get eggs before frickin' June this year? Ha ha, probably not, knowing my luck.

Ouch! Jeff have you seen Dr. Seward’s Ball Python Video? In it the Sutherlands discus how they took an 8yr old out of a project. They discovered through the use of there ultrasound that although she had been bred repeatedly her follicles failed to develop. The just would not grow. Maybe that's what you have on your hands. So that being said can you take here in for an ultrasound? Not likely, but it would be nice if you could. Have you palpated to check for the size of her follicles? They say that as a diognostic tool it has its limitations because by the time you feel them they it is too late to begin breeding attempts. But if you can feel them then that means that they are BIG and at least then you will know whether or not she is producing follicles or not.

Yeah, she could be infertile and she may never have follicles or she may. But the good things is that healthy adult males breed like mad and they can knock up at least 5-6 females in a given year. So its not like I'm paring him up with a dude female and that's it, no more breeding.

But thanks for the tip. I will probably purchase the video this summer, but I've been breeding Balls for 7 years, so I don't know if there's too much info in there that will help me.
