Eggs!!!
I knew she was going to lay on a day I would have to go to work! She layed 4-16-10, 20 good eggs and 4 infertile. One of the infertile eggs could be fertile but I'm not sure. They are in the incubator at 78 degrees F which should produce an 82 egg temp. I have the Helix probe in the egg bin and the bin is in the center of the incubator. I took all my Panther cham eggs out and have them down stairs in the garage, they should be fine. I've had alot of people ask about prices. Before I do anything I need to hatch out the little worms. I'm also not sure because I plan on trading many of the babies off and will probably only have 2 maybe 3 pairs available for sale. I have never been able to capture the Red in hood that both of these Indians have, you can get a small glimps of what they look like in person from two of the pics. I'd have to combine 10 photo's to get the true color to come out lol! Hope you like....
Here are the pics:

Re: Eggs!!!
How do you get her off the eggs? I bet she wants to defend them! I've heard that cobras are very protective mothers, is that true?

Re: Eggs!!!
She really wasn't bad at all! I caught her lay eggs at 5am and then I had to go to work. I work for Fire Rescue so I was on shift for 24hrs. The next day I moved her and put the eggs in the incubator. She really wasn't bad at all. I gently hooked her and she barely hooded up, just a little hissing. I ended up putting the hook down and gently picked her up with my hands and put her into another cage. I bet she was really tired though!

Re: Eggs!!!
I'm sure if I would have waited a few days to pull the eggs it woulda been alot more troublesome. None the less I doubt it would have been very difficult.

Re: Eggs!!!
venomous snakes can inject venom when they are born, a bite from a baby can cause a lot of damage, the only difference is the bigger the snake the more venom it can inject.
