Ola

I'm a happy owner of a 2.5 year old corn snake. He recently got big enough that we had to move him from a 15 gallon aquarium to a big exo-terra unit, which he really seems to love. He spends as much time climbing about his branches near the top of his habitat as he does in his hide on the ground.

We've enjoyed him so much that we're thinking of getting a second snake.

looking forward to contributing!

Re: Ola

Very cool! and Welcome to the forum! Just one small suggestion--don't plan to keep your second snake in the same enclosure with the first one.

We'd love to see pics!

Nope, I have a separate enclosure. I don't believe in housing snakes in the same space.

This is my buddy

Re: Ola

That corn is a beauty! I've never kept corns, myself, but I may have to look into them.

Good! Most of us in this forum agree with you. It's far less stressful for the snakes--and you're less likely to lose one.

So what kind of snake are you thinking of getting for Number 2?

Re: Ola

I am thinking of a bcc for my next snake. I like that they are generally very docile and tend to be good eaters. And I have the space. I'm in the process of setting up a nice enclosure for one, but am in no particular rush to find another snake. I would rather wait and find the right fit.
