Unhappy Ball python loose skin?

I just got me first ball pythons last week and they looked great when they arrived. However today one of them that is going through a shed looks like his skin is very loose. Should I be worried or is this normal for baby ball pythons? Help me please!

Re: Ball python loose skin?

first thing I recomend is making sure he is well hydrated, try soaking him in shallow room temp water for a couple hrs, has the snake fed do you know? usually loose skin is the first sign of dehydration, i would assume if the snake has fed in the past then you most likely caught it in time, saok her good, most of the shed will most likely come off shortly after if not during, feed her in a couple days and stay frequent with your feeding size and frequency, good luck and congrats on the new additions
