Some males will not show until they are almost a year old. I've had mine show anywhere between 13-17g, which was when the 13g was 6 monthes old, and the 17g was 4monthes old.
That's not to say that it can take longer. I have spoken to a couple breeders that have had males show once they hit 12 monthes. That's sort of the pain with them, they look female (which most people want), up until you make 'plans' for them, and then POP! Males we have!
Some females have a slight bulge (very slight) such that they are just barely not flat, which can look like the beginnings of male-hood. The only way to figure it out is to let time tell.
