substrate
hi im just wondering what most people use for subtrate and which substrates people have found most affective
2.1.0 corns
0.2.0 beardies
1.1.0 veild chams
0.1.0 leo
1.2.0 dogs
1.2.0 cockatiels god i hate those b@$t@rds

I personally have tried several different substrates for corns and I find that aspen works best IMO........

aspen, cypress mulch, newspaper depending on what I have available. I prefer aspen.

I use the Blue shop Towels for most all my Colubrids & use Aspen when I use shavings. Mark

really i have aspen for my big male corn but repti carpet/indoor out door for my hatchlings

I use Aspen shavings for adults and paper towel for hatchlings.

Repti carpet is just a breeding ground for bacteria. With the disposable paper towels its easy as its all thrown away. The carpet would need to be washed thoroughly & disinfected every time the snake pooped or peed to be as clean as the shop towels. Mark

i wash them in boiling water well not boiling but u couldnt stick your hand in there with the carpet
and then i use a scrub brush
