I did download it....omg...I can't figure it out, lol. I think it'd probably take me like 3 weeks to figure this program out and get used to it. It's NOT intuitive. It does have a lot of features, but it takes up a huge amount of space. I tried out the climate tool, and it wanted to use QuickTime! Is that really necessary? <lol>
I wouldn't buy it...good thing it's free.

I might try playing around with it some more later, and see if I can figure out how to put records in....
I still like FreeHerp better, though, it's SO easy to use, and right now it does everything I need--I only have a small collection.
I'm looking forward to seeing the pro version of FreeHerp...my understanding is, FreeHerp was never meant to "compete" with paid programs like Degei...it was meant to compete with other freeware, and give an intro to the up-and-coming pro software. HerpMaster is just a paid program that's been made free by its creator to "kill the market" (his own words), because he was mad at FreeHerp....it sounds weird, doesn't it? <lol>
But in any case, it's ProHerp that's supposed to compete with the paid programs, not FreeHerp. It should be really interesting to see how ProHerp compares with HerpMaster.
I understand ProHerp is going to look and feel pretty much the same as FreeHerp, which already indicates it's going to be one heck of a lot easier to use.
