With a 75 gallon tank it's hard to say if you'll be able to get proper temps for a corn, the ambient temp. of the room will also play a part. A heat pad/tape is another option for belly heat if the bulb isn't quite cutting it. As far as keeping them in pairs it's always best to avoid that situation unless for breeding purposes. You may go years never having a problem housing two together but there is always the chance something could happen or one snake could be sick and infect the other.

Corn snakes are so popular for a reason, the majority are easily "tamed" with regular handling and many start out very docile even as hatchlings.

i dont think you will ever need a tank that big but the bulb i think would be a little strong you should go with heat tape and a 60 watt bulb should do for the day time

A 100w may be a little much but be sure to use a thermostat what ever wattage bulb you use. I have a 4' x 2' x 3' high melamine encloser. Since it 3' high I went with a 150w infrared heat bulb and the thermostat keeps it at 87 degrees f on the hot end. The other end stays between 76 and 78 depending on the room temp.

I'd have to agree that a 100 watt MIGHT be too much. But you'll have to set it up before getting the snake and measure temps.

Snakes are NOT social animals and should not be housed together. You run the risk of passing disease, cannibilism, and many other risks. House them alone.

Also, a 75 gallon is FAR too large for a baby corn. I suggest getting an adult, or simply keeping the baby in a smaller enclosure until its bigger.

Good luck,
Marisa

A 100 Watt in a 75 gallon should be fine, but always check the temps before putting a new addition in the tank.

2 corns togehter shouldn't be a problem, but it is not recommended.

each of my corns are in a 10 gallon tank with locking lid, a heat pad and 2 hide spots. i had been considering putting them together, but then decided not to-it isn't worth losing any of them.
