Question breeding question

i have a friend that has a very large very pretty male BP. he has a couple of neon scales in odd places...and i have heard that in itself is a sign of recessive gene.
well, i have a female BP with some nice pattern but she is smaller than him by at least a foot and a half even though she is 2 years old....

would it be ok to try to breed these 2?

It all depends on the age and weight of the snakes. Minimum breeding weight for a female is 1500g's (with a stocky build). Females should be not too thin but not too fat either. Females also have to be atleast 18 months old to reproduce. Males need to be atleast 12 months old and over 400g's to technically be old and large enough to breed. However, males that are atleast 18 months old and over 1000g's make the best breeders.

Good luck!
