Anyway,MY OPINION, a female should be at least 10 feet a good 40lbs and recommended 3 years old,( but some breed them as early as 2 years,) if you want a nice good sized healthy clutch and males can breed as early as 7-9 ft in length and 2 years old. Just use caution to ensure they have good weight before cycling to breed. Some of them may go off feed for anywhere from 3-6 mos at a time.Remember, the older and larger in size and wieght, the better
