Latest on BCI with an RI....
I took my snake into the vet today. Indeed, they did diagnose her with a R.I. She got one Fortaz injection for it then and gets another on Friday, (we hope). It is a very advanced case. She was also very dehydrated and took eight subcutanious (sp?) & LR (?) injections of water. The vet also de-wormed her, checked for mites, and tube fed her soft food mixed with vitamins. Apparently she was sick when we got her at the reptile show as others from that breeder have been by to see that vet - one just before I arrived!
We discussed my tank, feeding, and what I had been sold vs. what I'm using now. Seems the only good advice I had was what was given on the internet forums! Everything spoken at the pet store was crap. Anyhoo, had it not been for the efforts we made at home she would be dead already - and one hundred dollars later, still may not survive. The next few days will be critical.
If you pray, please do. She kinda means a lot to me. More than the money, she's part of the family.

Hi,
What did the vet charge you for the treatment? Thanks, Paul.
