hey all,

you might remember me from a few weeks back. now I didnt want to be one of those guys that gets all gung ho and then dissapears.
I really wanted to get an IJ or JCP. did all the research and had the rubbermaid set up, then out of the blue, my landlord pulled the old, "your lizards are fine but no snakes", then my fiancee pulled the same stunt when I tried to vent to her about the landlord issue.

so, for now, no first snake for me until I move out of this place (which happens in may one I graduate... or maybe next may once I graduate lol!... no, no, itll be this may. I hope.)

Don't worry about the fiancee thing, Ill get that sorted out by the time I move.

so, look for me in a few months. Ill be lurking around looking for good tips and cool pictures in the meantime.

If there's no by-law your landlord can't do squat once you're in. It's damn hard to get rid of tenants. But if you don't want to antagonize them, hope you get your snake eventually

yeah, its the antagonizing thing. he's a good guy, and has helped me out in the past.
Plus I live with the guy, and I just dont feel right about making someone uncomfortable in their own home.

ok well, I decided to re-subscribe to the forum becasue I just seem drawn to these animals. Ill be reading posts and collecting info until I crack the snake wall of resistance I seem to be facing from the people around me.
I will get a Spilota...... eventually.
for now the lizzies are keeping me happy. Just got a pair of Scorpion Geckos (Pristurus Carteri) that are brand new in Canada.
Worked out for the best anyway. the money I had earmarked for an Ij or JCP and setup will now go to a turbo rebuild for my car because it seized last week.
