African Giant Millipede questios....

if placed in a cage with live plants, will the millipedes eat the plants?

Not always.

I have several pothos in my millipede tank with 5 pedes of 2 species. The plants are untouched.

No, actually, most likely it wont. They prefer decaying vegetation, therefore they will eat dead plants rather than live. The only reason they will eat live is if you have nothing else for them.
