Temperature Problems

OK so I have som geckos in a 15 gallon tank with a screen top on a human heating pad.

The heat pad gets to 110 deg but I am having trouble getting a hot spot of 88-90 right above it inside the tank.

it was working great the Paper towel Substrate then I put in about 1 - 1.5' of eco earth now it is impossible to heat??

Any Ideas

Thanks
Charles

you will have to play with it for a few days, but you will have to turn up the heat, cause you now have 1-1.5" of eco earth to heat in there vs just thin paper towel before ... i am using eco earth in one of my enclosures as well and don't have any problems with getting the right temps ...
