New Snake Room
I moved from a condo to a house recently so I finally have my own snake room instead of using the dining room. I built some new racks and I have finally organized everything...well kinda.
Good side of room:
Bad side of the room:
Now all I have to do is figure out what I want to fill everything with.

Wow, way cool Ron! So you have tons and tons of housing for snakes you don't own yet? You mean you're planning in advance? HETHAN!
Looks great.

Thanks everyone.
Trevor,
You are more than welcome to use the pics for ideas but I would probably suggest you don't build the racks to fit 2 sweater boxes lengthwise as I did. They sag a little in the middle which can pinch your tubs; luckily I spaced it large enough that it's not too bad. While I was reorganizing I placed a 2200 gram female BP in one of the tubs and you can definitely tell that it caused some sag in a couple of weeks. She is normally housed in a Vision cage but she's gravid so I'll wait till she's done laying to move her. If you're using it for your corns it should be fine.
Ken,
Yeah I know it's weird having all the room, I could get 40 snakes tomorrow and house them easily. I still have to build 2 hatchling racks and I also have my Asian ratsnakes in another room that's cooler than this one. The TARAS show could be dangerous for me.
Brian,
I only have 16 BP's in the 2 far racks but 3 of the females are gravid so with some luck I should be able to fill some more enclosures.
Grant,
I love the 3 footers for my larger female BP's and they look about right for some bolivian amarali which I hope to get soon. I like the way you set yours up for your ETB's; I'd like to do something similar for Chondros or maybe Rhino rats.
Thanks again,
Ron

Great looking room, and awesome idea getting all those enclosures before you get some snakes.

Those vision enclosure are really nice. Would they house an adult boa? How well do they work out?
