Who here has bred ATBs?

Just wondering who here has bred their Amazons. I'd like to pic their brains a little bit.
Cheers,
Trevor

Well did yours stop eating after ovulation? Mine just ovulated a few weeks ago. When should I expect birth? I was thinking September based on what I've read.
So far I've been reading about them for a year on line but I've never had anyone personally share they're experience with me. What do you do to prepare yours? What's your husbandry like etc?
Thanks,
Trevor

Well my wife posted a pic of her cage today here somewhere.I keep mine together most of the time until i can tell that she is gravid. They live in a large 4x2.5x3 well planted cage with homemade terrarrium soil and sphagnum moss on the floor. Lots of branches and logs to climb on etc...I've been expecting the little ones since the end of Febuary, 8 months from the time I witnessed copulation. Bad idea Bad math etc.. she hasn't eaten for at least 4 months and keeps getting huger!!!lol The last time she had babies I gave up guessing and even started to think she was sick and going to explode or something, and then she had them. STRESS anyways she is much bigger this time so i think she will have more than 6 this time. I'd say October or November for you though, gestation for them is LONG like eight months. Good luck. I'll definately be posting pics when it finally happens and we can compare notes again then. Dave
