would i beable 2 put a baby jcp in a 180 gallon tank or would he feel unsucure like a ball python would and if he would feel in surcur would it work is i made it realy dense and had lots of ways for him to get around with out being seen
:grab:
Actually you could put 2 in a 6x2x2 tank. just go to a hardware store buy a chunk of plexiglass to fit inside (or some other sort of secure devider) and run a bead of silicon around the edges.
When you say 180 gallon I'm assuming opentop fish tank. A few things to think about if thats the case. Cleaning can be a bit of a pain in the @ss. So can getting the snake out until you get past the flinching when they nip. But the main issue is maintaining the humidity.
I wouldn't put baby jungles in a cage like that until they are pounding rats, and a bit bigger in size. The large cage could cause extra stress on them, but then again some will adapt readily.
thanks for all the replys and i think what i will do is use a rubermade until he gets biger because if i just use a small part of it it will be realy hard 2 keep a good basking spot, warm side, and cool side because i would have 2 use a high watt buld because of how tall the tank is
