Did I make a good choice?

Since I have been lurking in these forums I have been amazed by the many beautiful King snakes that can be bought, both in Canada and the US.

Living in the United Kingdom and in a small town I was very limited to my choice of snake. When i went to swap my first snake (a long story that I won't bore you with again) and decided to go for a Cali, I really did not know there were so many variations.

In the end I got a desert striped phase. Since I got her I have been told that they are not very common. Is that true?

This piccie was taken a month or so ago...

Nice snake! Love that uniform colored belly. Any dorsal shots?

They're more like uncommon but not rare. I'd say a good choice nonetheless.

I've only got these two but I'm afraid that they are not very good.

As others have said, not really rare, but yours is lovely none the less - a very nice choice. Thanks for sharing photos.

Unbroken stripe? the stripe goes from the tail, all the way up to the neck then stops. Then there's a white 'blob' on her head. As far as I can see it's unbroken. where can I find a piccie iof a snake with a 'broken stripe' so i can compare. I don't know anything about this sort of thing. I just picked her because she looked like a 'mint humbug'. ;o)
